Bajo el sello Metal Blade Records y con la producci\u00f3n del m\u00edtico Jim Morris, la banda estadunidense reapareci\u00f3 luego de ocho a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>La propuesta no vari\u00f3 mucho de su antecesor The Passage of Existence (2018) donde cultivaron ese sonido de los 90 y agregaron ciertos elementos para reinventar la propuesta extrema.<\/p>\n<p>El disco es directo, agresivo y con cambios de ritmos que calzan perfectos para el headbanging. El punto negativo ser\u00eda la carencia de momentos \u00e9picos.<\/p>\n<p>Lee Harrison, baterista fundador del cuarteto se encarg\u00f3 en gran medida de las composiciones, junto al guitarrista Matt Barnes. Ed Webb estuvo al frente de la parte vocal. Gran trabajo con los guturales y encaj\u00f3 en el estilo de los norteamericanos. Acierto rotundo con la llegada de este frontman.<\/p>\n<p>El bajista original Mark Van Erp retorn\u00f3 y su regreso se hizo sentir. Su instrumento es pieza clave de la estructura musical. No pasa desapercibido, por el contrario, destaca y le da volumen demoledor a cada tema.<\/p>\n<p><em>Banished to the Skies<\/em> abre el disco. Una canci\u00f3n un tanto floja, para presentar el inicio del \u00e1lbum. Con <em>The Colossal Rage<\/em>, <em>The Atropiehd<\/em> y <em>Spiral<\/em>, todo cambia para mejor. Estridencia a su m\u00e1xima expresi\u00f3n. T\u00e9cnica depurada y ritmos que demuestran la potencia del g\u00e9nero.<\/p>\n<p><em>Fortunes Engraved in Blood<\/em> y<em> Vapors<\/em>, tienen gran poder\u00edo. Riffs afilados y mucho \u201ctupa tupa\u201d. <em>The Thorns<\/em> sirvi\u00f3 para marcar una especie de \u201cdoble tiempo\u201d. Los ritmos se van descomponiendo y como que la idea principal no prosper\u00f3.<br \/><em>Blood Works<\/em> es todo lo que concierne a la vieja escuela. Desde el arranque con esa voz sombr\u00eda a lo ultratumba y mucho doble bombo.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Dark Aura<\/em> busc\u00f3 sumergirse en una atm\u00f3sfera doom.
